"Magnus, What's The Deal With This NEW Website?
...Tell Me Everything!"

Before we dive right in...

YES! I'm still making pens (as you can tell with my fancy-pants photo of a work-in-progress of some NEW pens.

So here's the thing:

I used to make pens a long time ago (the first one around 10 years ago). Although, to be 100% accurate, I designed the pens and worked with a local machinist to bring them to life. He did the CNC machining and I did everything else (surface finishing, assembly, quality-control, shipping, etc.).

Long story short...

I ended up focusing more more on high-end fidgets AND making them 100% in-house in my workshop. I wanted to get back into pens - but I really needed a specific machine (a "sliding-head lathe" if you are interested).

A few years later and I finally managed to buy a sliding-head lathe and was able to make pens again - but this time 100% in-house!

Up until I managed to get this new lathe we ended up becoming quite the big deal in the world of high-end fidgets ...well, okay, became THE big deal (the world's #1 fidget designer and maker).

And here's the downside:

Even though I started designing and making high-end, precision CNC machined Titanium pens ...they kind of got lost on my website (MagnusX.com) ...because that website is centered around high-end fidgets.

It was very weird...

I managed to snag both 1st and 2nd place out of "Top 20 Favorite Pens 2025"...

Not only were my two pens (ClickShift and Bolt-Action) in the very popular video of the best pens of 2025...

...but we took both #1 and #2 places.

...yet, at the same time, these pens were on a single page on a website otherwise dedicated to precision machined fidgets.

Madness!

Obviously I should had done time a long time ago. Shame on me. But, hey, we're doing it now.

Here's the cool thing...

Rather that having just a single page for pens ...I have an entire website. Not only does this allow me to focus a lot more on them ...but I can share a lot more of the journey, the process and all sort of "behind the scenes" stuff.

Having the pens on the other website meant they were always in the shadow of the fidgets. People who are into fidgets ...REALLY love the product itself - but, for better or worse, they're really not interested in the process of designing and making fidgets.

That's where "pen people" are different. I have found, in my experience over the years, that people who are into high-end, precision-made pens enjoy the behind the scenes of how the pen is made.

You'll probably want to stick around because, not only will I be sharing a lot more going forward, but I already have some NEW concepts, NEW designs and NEW materials coming soon
